The two organizations jointly stated that a flat organization and gender diversity in leadership is the key to corporate competitiveness and economic development.

P&G Korea established a solid partnership with the Ministry for the past two years. They were the first multinational firm to sign a partnership agreement with the Ministry in 2014, which was to support single-parent households.

Through this new agreement, P&G Korea aims to maintain the ratio of women in executive positions and new employees to 50%. They will also continue to implement job evaluation, promotion and compensation based on performance, regardless of gender.

To prevent female career discontinuity, the company offers a flexible working environment allowing mothers to freely choose their working hours and places. Other benefits include parental leave system, training programs for future female leaders.

With diversity & inclusion as their main values, P&G Korea has been striving for a fair working environment without any discrimination. They are conducting a performance-based evaluation system throughout all departments. Also, the percentage of female executives and managers has remained at 50% for the past 5 years.

Balaka Niyazee, general manager of P&G Korea commented that the company will continue to work closely with the Ministry to spread gender equality.
