[Mediapen=Kwon Ga-lim] Hyundai Merchant Marine(HMM) was the most reliable carrier in June with a schedule reliability of 91.8%, according to SeaIntel’s global liner performance report.
This is from HMM’s efforts to improve service quality and rebuild customer trust by restructuring and keeping the time schedules.
As a result, HMM’s reliability score showed a significant improvement of 8% percent points from last month. The global ranking also jumped from 5th to 1st. The average reliability score of top 15 carriers was 83.5 percent.
While HMM is to join THE Alliance as a full member on April 2020, the company’s current shipping alliance members Maersk and MSC showed a reliability score of 88.1%(4th) and 86.4%(7th) respectively.
An HMM official stated “HMM will keep up its efforts to maintain top-level schedule reliability and reciprocate customer trust”.
