[Mediapen=Kim Young-jin] Shinsegae Department Store will open its luxury concept store BoonTheShop in London’s Harrods department store.

The Korean retail giant is expanding its overseas boutique business after entering New York and Paris. It is currently open at Bergdoft Goodman New York and Le Bon Marche Paris. The boutique in Barneys New York closed recently due to the department store filing bankruptcy.
BoonTheShop is getting a space at Harrods as one of 300 official brands, not as a temporary store. Harrods London is one of the world’s best-known luxury department store with over 100,000 visitors a day.
Shinsegae group also said BoonTheShop was invited to open at Nordstrom NYC Flagship, the seven-story women’s store which is to open in October.
